I was born in 1969 in New Haven, Connecticut. When I was three years old, my family moved to Claremont, California, where I grew up. After graduating from Claremont High School and attending Pitzer College, I moved north to Portland, Oregon. I got married, got a dog, bought a house and got another dog. I studied photography at Mt. Hood Community College.
